Moolart Well and Duketon North
Historically, operations comprised the Moolart Well open pit, the first major open pit developed by Regis in 2010, together with several other smaller satellite open pits including Wellington/Wallace, Gloster, Dogbolter and Petra pits, supplied ore to the Moolart Well processing plant at approximately 2.5 Mtpa. These deposits were mined using conventional truck-and-shovel open pit methods, consistent with the plant’s nominal 2.5 Mtpa design capacity.
As announced on 13 Novemebr 2025, Regis extended Duketon North operations through organic growth and by accellerating the development of the Buckingham-Wellington open pit. Buckingham-Wellington represents the next major source of ore for the hub and is materially larger than prior satellite deposits. The updated plan delivers ~223,000 ounces of recovered gold over a six-year period, underpinned by a 251,000-ounce Probable Ore Reserve and supported by low development intensity given the proximity to established haul roads, workshops, accommodation and the Moolart Well mill. The project generates strong margins at current gold prices, requires modest capital, and provides a meaningful extension to the operating life of Duketon North.
Advancing Buckingham-Wellington fits Regis’ strategy of quickly bringing new assets online to take advantage of latent infrastructure and favourable gold prices, while maintaining a disciplined capital profile and strengthening the value of the broader Duketon portfolio.
